About Us
Our Collective Found journey began in the gorgeous bayside town of Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula. We landed in Melbourne, Australia in 2011—my husband, two children and I—post-Christchurch earthquakes. It was a new beginning after losing the home we loved and the life we knew. Discovering Portarlington in 2013 was our rainbow, our healer, our opportunity. Making a life here allowed us to ground ourselves again.
In 2016 we discovered a big, gorgeous industrial shed that had previously housed a second-hand treasure trove. It had sat empty for years. We'd always loved that shop, that shed. It quickly became a huge part of us—our hub of community, creativity and business. Over the next seven years we built it together and it served our young family beautifully. Art exhibitions, a space for artisans and makers, social gatherings, and of course the trading of vintage furniture and homewares.
Our lease ended in 2023, with new opportunities waiting for me at The Amazing Mill Markets. Now in 2025, it's been an incredible journey to be part of a new collective, selling our wares in a bricks-and-mortar store. My new ventures have given me space and time to paint more, to create more—and so Paper My Mojo became.
My new line of textiles originated from my paper paintings I've been doing since 2021. Inspired by an obsession with rapid markings of gorgeous objects I was surrounded by: vases, bottles, crosses, candlesticks. Quickly these became the source of my attention and subjects. From object to paper to fabric.
My dearest friend Denise was the first to recognize the design possibilities. I trusted her and have since set off on a very organic journey that has led me to present day. Launching a range of tea towels to sit beside an installation at a local café, to now collaborating on their café t-shirts, to printing my own designs. My beautiful husband Richi, son Ziggy and daughter Coco have been my partners in translating the vision from paper to digital.
It's all still fresh and I can't wait to take it as far as it can go. Excited to take the leap is an understatement—it fulfils all of my creative dreams and is an incredible teacher of new skills. This journey is certainly keeping me full.
